Microsort® IVF and PGD

Microsort® IVF (in vitro fertilization) with PGD (pre-genetic diagnosis) is considered to be the most effective and accurate gender selection method available.
The treatment process and medication is the same as Microsort® with IVF where the sperm is sorted into X and Y, however once the embryos are formed and have developed to the 8 cell stage, there is a biopsy performed for both genetic testing and gender (sex) selection.
Combining the PGD with Microsort® increases the success of the desired gender from 75-90% up to 99.9% and allows for genetic testing to take place to ensure that the healthiest embryos are transferred.
PGD is a procedure that is generally recommended for older women who’s eggs have a higher risk of abnormalities.

North Cyprus Fertility Center is the only clinic in the world to offer both of these procedures together for the highest accuracy of both gender and genetic abnormality free embryos and offspring.
