Tandem IVF Cycle

 North Cyprus IVF Center offers Tandem Cycling which has gained a lot of popularity in the last few years. This treatment allows for women who have low quality eggs or ovarian reserve to try for IVF with their own eggs along with back-up eggs from an egg donor at the same time.

Since we will only require a few good quality eggs from the patient, the medication dose is lower and at the end of the process, it is up to the individual to decide which eggs they wish to use. In the even the patient decides to use their own eggs, the donor eggs can be frozen for an attempt in the future if necessary.

The Tandem IVF Cycle reduces the costs and increases the chances of a positive result.

This treatment is a wonderful option for women who do not have great hormone levels or AMH results or for women who have tried IVF with ICSI a few times with no success.  It is a great option for patients who wish to give one more go with their own eggs but with an option to proceed with donor eggs in the event that the quality of their own eggs are not suitable for the IVF.

Both the patient and egg donor are prepared and monitored on the same cycle and eggs are collected on the same day.  Once the embryos are ready, the patient can then deciede if they wish to use their own embryos, the donor embryos or a combination of both embryos.

We have been providing this treatment for a few years and have yielded many positive results.

It is also a good treatment for women who have a hard time accepting egg donation as their only option. If there is a combination of both embryos used and a positive pregnancy is achieved,  the patient does not know which embryo actually implanted making the psychological burden less.
